Wallaroo to Lucky Bay Ferry service is running again and the Franklin Harbour Hotel have a courtesy pick up service.
COWELL is situated on Eastern Eyre Peninsula in South Australia 100km south of Whyalla which is home of the snapper fishing championships, and only 15km from the Lucky Bay Ferry Terminal. Bonus Snapper fishing 2 day getaway in Cowell $600 per person all inclusive. This Package includes:
- 2 half day charters hunting the reds with all Shimano fishing gear supplied or bring your own if preferred.
- 2 nights accommodation in the Franklin Harbour Hotel, walking distance from the launch ramp, with all meals. Monster steaks and fresh seafood evening meals, breakfast each morning with packed lunch (or hotel menu if not fishing through lunch).
- Fish cleaning area and freezer storage on site too.
- Packages can be tailored to suit for extra days on request.

If it’s excitement you’re after than Arno Bay is definitely the place to be! Arno Bay Fishing Charters are not only known for legendary snapper fishing, but also for the vast array of unforgettable experiences and affordable holiday packages.
Arno Bay Fishing Charters have purchased a 7.8 metre Cougar Cat which is surveyed for 12+1 people and will be skippered by Peter Ralph. We also have a relationship with another local fishing charter operator, which means that we can cater for larger groups and fishing clubs of up to 24 people on the water at any one time.
Our skipper, Peter Ralph, ran the Tumby Bay charter until recently and has over 30 years fishing experience as a professional fisherman and charter operator.
Now if huge Pink Snapper isn’t your ideal catch, than no need to worry! Arno Bay Fishing Charters can make your experience one to remember with some other fantastic catches such as: King George Whiting, Australian Salmon, Mulloway, King Fish, Mullet, Flathead, Garfish, Herring (Tommies), Squid and more!
Arno Bay Fishing Charters offer a full day Snapper charter for $200 per person, with morning tea, lunch, soft drinks and water provided, all tackle and bait is supplied. All you need to do is bring something to take your fish home in!
Freezing and storing trophy fish is our specialty! We offer a huge walk in freezer for freezing and storing of your fish.
We also specialise in baking whole fresh snapper. Simply give us the first snapper cleaned and we will have it baked whole, ready to go before you can finish cleaning the rest of your catch. Served with our compliments!
