For those who don't want to leave the beautiful Sydney Harbour, maybe one of our private four hour Harbour Fishing experiences is for you. Our Sydney Fishing Charters are customised to suit the clients needs & requirements. We recommend a minimum of four hours & up to twelve people, but this can vary according to your request. We can even provide food & beverages for your experience with us. All you need to bring is your hat & sunglasses, we will even provide the sunscreen. Fishing Charters Sydney Our Sydney Harbour Fishing tours are generally conducted in the eastern & northern sides of the harbour, including Middle Harbour, North & South Head & The Spit up towards Roseville area. We vary our fishing techniques to suit the expected catch due to season & weather. Techniques involved include; Trolling, either lures or baits, bait fishing with weighted lines in a burley trail, spinning with metal or plastic lures at surface fish in the harbour, down rigging with swimming baits at varying depths, live baiting using slimy mackerel, yellowtail or squid for some of the Harbour's brute Kingfish are all considered to maximise the catch. Bravo Fishing Charters Sydney offers a range of specialty charter fishing including: Deep Sea Fishing, Reef Fishing, Blue Eye Cod Fishing, Game Fishing and Snapper Fishing in Sydney with one of Australia’s most experienced crews which is certainly an experience not to be missed. We offer a choice of two vessels licenced with the New South Wales Department of Industry and Investment (Fisheries) in the charter boat category to accommodate the size of your group.
All our crew members are experienced fishermen particularly with the deep sea fishing principles and are fully licensed with New South Wales Maritime Authority. Operating from Cronulla in Sydney’s Southern anchorage of Port Hacking provides very quick access to some of the most productive deep sea fishing grounds especially off the Royal National Park.
Different times of the year generate different species of fish. For example, big snapper come in to spawn on the shallow reefs in colder months, whilst warmer water give better catches of large flathead and trevally.
Other good table fish such as perch, morwong, cod and tuna are regular catches by our anglers. All deep sea fishing tackle including rods, reels, hooks, line, sinker as well as good quality bait is supplied. Rods and reels are provided for all those anglers wishing to use them otherwise deck winches are offered as an alternative.
We carry a deckhand on most deep sea fishing charter boat trips. His job is to rig all the tackle, cut the bait and organise individual bait buckets. Once fish are caught he will take them of the hook, gut, scale and clean them and immediately place them into icy sea water to keep your deep sea fishing catch fresh and perfect for the table. All licences required for deep sea fishing by New South Wales Fisheries are also provided.
You just bring your lunch and your beers; we provide the rest. We cater for all levels of experience in deep sea fishing, from those who bring their own rods, reels and tackle to the beginner who will receive individual tuition to ensure a catch on their first day out on our charter boat, deep sea fishing.
Deep Sea Fishing Charters Sydney
We generally find the fish are on the reefs and sand all year round. Any time is a good time for this style of fishing. We fish the reefs, sand and gravel bottom off the Royal National Park south of Port Hacking. These are some of the best deep sea fishing grounds in the Sydney region as very few charter boats or recreational anglers fish this area. The species for capture varies with the different seasons however, Snapper, Morwong, Trevally, Perch, Wrasse and Flathead on a fishing trip with us are regular catches found in the fish box at the end of any day.

When you book the vessel the charter is yours. We do not mix groups nor add individuals to groups.

Blue Eye Cod Fishing Trips
Bravo Fishing Charters Sydney embarks on Blue Eye Cod fishing trips which are only available in the Winter Months when these species come in
onto the deeper reefs to spawn. These are deep water trips starting at about 450 meters. Blue Eye Cod, Bass Cod, Gemfish, Frost Fish Imperator, Deep Sea Perch and Giant Boar Fish are just a few of the possible catches. We use the gear and techniques to ensure your catch does not escape. We troll sport and game fishing gear on the way out and back with regular captures of Yellowfin Tuna and occasionally Marlin as a welcome surprise.

• Specialised Cod tackle supplied (Alvey Reef Queen reels with 200lb braid).

Fishing Charters Sydney
Sydney is our homeport; it has some of the finest fishing in the world. In summer our marlin population consists of blacks, blues and stripes as well as the occasional short-billed spearfish and sailfish.
Best months for marlin off Sydney are December to June. In winter May to November our targets turn to the gut busting yellowfin tuna which can be caught all through these months.
Other species are mahi mahi, snapper, kingfish and assorted reef species.
The waters of Sydney and Port Stephens contain some of the finest fishing found anywhere in the world. Catches of up to 21 marlin in a day have been recorded by the boys.
In summer black, striped and blue marlin are caught, Giant Mahi Mahi, Wahoo and tuna are targeted as well during these warm months.Then when the waters cool in winter, it is full on action with Sydney's gut busting yellowfin tuna and giant mako sharks. If it is a day on the reef fishing for big snapper Ross and Glenn will ensure that a good feed is taken home.Fish with boys and their crews... Fishing Charters Port Stephens
The grounds of Port STEPHENS are the best medium tackle marlin fishing in the world. We fish Port Stephens from late January to mid April each year.
As well as the wild marlin fishing there are giant mahi mahi and smatterings of cobia and yellowfin.
