The waters of Sydney and Port Stephens contain some of the finest fishing found anywhere in the world. Catches of up to 21 marlin in a day have been recorded by the boys.
In summer black, striped and blue marlin are caught, Giant Mahi Mahi, Wahoo and tuna are targeted as well during these warm months.
Then when the waters cool in winter, it is full on action with Sydney's gut busting yellowfin tuna and giant mako sharks. If it is a day on the reef fishing for big snapper Ross and Glenn will ensure that a good feed is taken home.

Fishing Charters Sydney
Sydney is our homeport; it has some of the finest fishing in the world. In summer our marlin population consists of blacks, blues and stripes as well as the occasional short-billed spearfish and sailfish.
Best months for marlin off Sydney are December to June. In winter May to November our targets turn to the gut busting yellowfin tuna which can be caught all through these months.
Other species are mahi mahi, snapper, kingfish and assorted reef species.
Port Stephens Fishing Charters
The grounds of Port STEPHENS are the best medium tackle marlin fishing in the world. Running Port Stephens Fishing Charters from late January to mid April each year.
As well as the wild marlin fishing there are giant mahi mahi and smatterings of cobia and yellowfin.

He is a one of the most respected fisherman on the coast.

There are way too many tournament wins to mention but you can be assured that you will never be disappointed fishing with Ross. His happy disposition, along with his love of his job will ensure you have a great adventure.
BILLFISHER - Captain Glenn Hunter. Glenn started his career fishing with his Dad Ross when he was old enough to go to sea. He is known one of the best skippers on the coast as well.
Glenn also has many achievements including the release of 151 marlin in ’05 thus making Billfisher champion boat out of the Port that season.
To fish with Glenn is to fish with a Captain who has a passion for his job a person who gives 100%.
To fish with either of the Hunter boys you are fishing with Captains who not only are dedicated to the love of fishing but are the best.
Ross and Glenn released nearly 300 marlin at Port Stephens in ‘05.
ACCOMMODATION CAN BE ARRANGED FOR groups of six is $850.00 (approx )per three-day package or $150.00 per head for individuals.
Alternative accommodation can be arranged at the Salamander Shores Resort as an option.
BOOKINGS and DEPOSITS? Bookings are taken on a first in best-dressed basis.
We offer a two-part payment system.
Deposit by Sept 30th. Balance of account December 1st.
A deposit of 50% must be paid within 30 days of booking if before September. The balance of the account must be paid by December 1st this then confirms the booking and accommodation.
BAD WEATHER? In the case if bad weather another day will be arranged either at Pt Stephens or Sydney.

*WHAT SHOULD I BRING? You will need sheets pillowslips tea towel personal towels and toiletries etc. It is suggested such starters as coffee tea bread breakfast items could be packed however there are convenience stores near by.
A raincoat, sunscreen seasick pills, camera and sunglasses are a must.
