Victoria has a unique landscape and the streams and rivers that run off the high country make for some great trout fishing destinations. Fishing locations such as Rocky Valley Reservoir and Pretty Valley Reservoir are known to be some of the best trout fisheries in Victoria. Healthy specimens of brown and Rainbow trout can be caught in Lake Dartmouth and the Lower Mitta Mitta River in the warmer months.
